Saxwerk has successfully assisted Sandåsa Timber in Forssjö, Sweden, with a significant upgrade to their facility. The project involved replacing an old 8MW boiler with a more powerful 15MW boiler, which is crucial for increasing the capacity for drying sawdust. Additionally, a new belt dryer has been installed to replace the outdated drum dryer, enhancing the efficiency of the drying process.

The original plant, established in 1995, was limited in its capacity with the old setup. With the new installations, Sandåsa Timber is better equipped to handle increased production demands. Saxwerk managed the entire project, overseeing the construction and ensuring that all details, particularly those not covered in the main equipment deliveries, were meticulously handled. This comprehensive approach helped ensure a smooth transition and successful implementation of the upgrades.
